Alex

A canvas over the files on your Mac. Bring in documents, links and sketches, and ask Claude to build right onto it.

Everything on one desk. Notes, PDFs and links become cards you can move, group, connect and draw around.

An Alex canvas called Onboarding v2: a note, a research PDF, a roadmap PDF and a spec as cards in a green section, a sticky note circled by hand and linked to the note, and two web links in an Inspiration section.

Read it where you think. PDFs open beside the desk, to search, zoom and highlight.

A research PDF open in the panel at the right of the canvas, its card selected on the desk.

Ask Claude to build it. It lands on your desk, and it runs.

An onboarding prototype written by Claude, open live in the panel: a card asking to name your first canvas, with Q4 launch typed in and a Continue button.

Have a thought? ⌃⇧Space opens a sketch over whatever you are doing.

Alex's quick sketch floating over a web page: a hand-drawn box saying blank desk, an arrow labelled seed it, and a circle saying sample?

Plain files, on your Mac. No account, no cloud.

The canvas is a JSON Canvas file next to your notes. Git, Obsidian, a text editor and Claude read and write the same folder, and Alex redraws when they do.
